Religion is everywhere and it is a part of our culture. But religion varies and this is where things get complicated. We all should learn to respect others for what they believe and in return respect us for what we believe in. I'm a christian and so are my parents, they raise me in a christian world but I don't like religion. But that doesn't mean that I don't believe in GOD. I see religion a as a form of propaganda to earn more followers and money. If you are a really a man of GOD you wouldn't push people to give a percentage of their earnings. They must willingly give it not because they're obliged to give to stay in the circle. Sometimes, I'd rather stay home and read the Bible.
