YouTube's New algorithm is taking away your subscribers

After the announcement of YouTube's new partnership program qualifications (1k subscribers 4k hrs watch time for the past 12 months) a massive SUB4SUB have happened. If you don't know what SUB4SUB is, it's like an agreement between two YouTube channels to sub to each other. So everyone now can reach up to 1k subscribers.

But YouTube isn't that stupid so their new algorithm Involves un-subbing channels to their subscriptions if they haven't watched a single video on that particular channel. So I'm a member of a Facebook group where SUB4SUB becomes a thing and a lot of people thought that others are un-subbing their channel after a day of the agreement but it's effing YouTube's new algorithm.

Channel's like mine with small audience will be demonetized on February 20 2018 if I haven't reached YouTube's new partnership policy. And it is effing impossible, so I think my channel will be just be a hobby and purely for sharing back when I started my channel from my weird imagination. But I will still have my AdSense but not on my YouTube channel.

Wanna guess where? Here on my Blogspot that just have been approved last year. And yes Google AdSense also have a criteria on blogs. Finally my writing skills will again put to work if I want to keep this blog. For those of you who don't know I'm effing a Journalism graduate at Lyceum of the Philippines University. To be honest, writing isn't really what I have in mind as a course and a career to pursue that's why after I graduated I choose to become a freelance photographer and cinematographer instead of applying as a researcher on tv stations or works related on my degree.

Probably if you're reading this you might be one of the many who will be demonetized, starting a new channel or just curios on what's happening. One thing I can advice you if you want to start a channel with monetization is it's either you're effing popular like celebrity popular or you really have that skills in entertainment.

Masasa beach Tingloy Island Batangas

I celebrated new year (2017 - 2018) with my legit fam at Masasa beach but  you can also hike there for around 100php per head if you want to.  You can directly drop off at Masasa beach like we did but I think it's still better to see Tingloy port. And if it is you're first time at Masasa there's a lot of Transients and Kubo to rent on the Island.
